I have used the ACT and Clutch Masters
clutches and flywheels in the past, and I love the feel
of this Twin Disc Carbon-Carbon clutch. The car runs like
a bracket racer all day, and what's funny is I swear I
could put this clutch in my street car and drive it anywhere.

This new RPS Twin Disc Carbon-Carbon clutch
is awesome. It allowed me to get away from the jumpy,
jerky monster pressure plates I used before which were
killing my left leg, causing crank walk and wore out after
10 passes. I was sick of touchy clutches, constant replacement
and walking funny cause my left leg was now bigger. The
RPS Carbon-Carbon has smoother engagement than stock and
after 10 passes still looks like new. Thanks, RPS Marco

I've been racing since I was 19, with
my 1988 mustang gt. Over the years the car has(naturally)
progressed, faster and faster each year. Other than 2
passes down the 1/4 with nitrous...it has always been
naturally aspirated. I began running in the NMRA in 2003
and finished a solid 5th in my 1st year which was a big
learning experience. I was hooked on the heads up racing
when I won at MIR in the fall of 2002 at their ford fever
classic. I've has tons of diff trans's(auto&manual) over
the years and would much rather bang the gears. This year
alone I've had 3 diff clutches on my CYN-R-G flywheel
and when I removed the most recent clutch, the surface
looked as if it was just put in the car, not a single
hot spot on the surface!!!! I've had a Fidanza flywheel
in and every time I took out the clutch the surface was
badly warped and had to be replaced numerous times!! The
steel flywheels I use to run would develop heat cracks,
and warp as well. The CYN-R-G flywheel is definitely a
huge step above and beyond all other flywheels I've ever
run. Now I can't wait to try out the new line of clutches
for the Mustang, If the quality of the flywheel is any
indication of the clutch, then look out Pure Street cause
my biggest problem is finally solved!!!!!! TEDDY WEAVER

Our class installed the set up you sent
us for our 5.0 Mustang. At first look your product had
a high quality appearance. We have never seen a flywheel
like that. It was easy to install and everything lined
up nicely. Yesterday we fired up the car, went through
the gears a few times to tune the carb and get it right.
I road tested the car in the afternoon and everything
felt tight and good. The pedal effort was less then I
expected especially since we are using the stock Ford
mechanical linkage. This morning I leaned into in harder.
What a set up, it is awesome. It is the first time I drove
the car where a clutch hasn't slipped. The car now has
more power then I thought. What a top shelf product. In
October Lowe's motor speedway holds the largest car show
on the East coast. We plan to show the car and will display
your product banners you sent. Again thank you.

I've used every available clutch in my
Supra and the RPS Carbon-Carbon combines performance and
streetabilty secound to none. It's enables me to have
the most consistent, hardest 60 footing 6sp Supra anywhere.

Matt Andrews -Ultimate Street Car Challenge
Supra Rob from RPS worked very hard with us to build a
clutch that would work well for the car's dual purpose
road racing and street driving, along with all of the
challenges we knew it would face during the Ultimate Street
Car Challenge. Rob talked to us about our options and
helped us find the clutch that was right for us. The RPS
Carbon-Carbon handled all the power and abuse we could
throw at it with very little compromise to pedal pressure
and engagement. Pedal pressure was still fairly light
relative to many "high horsepower" Supra clutches I've
driven and engagement was very smooth under almost all
conditions. When we wanted to make last minute adjustments
to the clutch, RPS' customer service was impeccable. They
understood our deadlines and worked with us to make the
changes we wanted, and got it back to us faster than they
initially promised. I feel like they took a personal interest
in making us successful and making sure we were happy
with their product. I plan on using their clutches again
in our next project car.

I have to say, RPS is one of the best
companies I have ever purchased from. I purchased a RPS
3200lb special clutch and pressure plate from MVPmotorsports
for my 89 Supra Turbo. From what I have heard and been
told I'm very impressed with RPS as a company. Your methods
of dealing with customers and suppliers is unorthodox.
You go above and beyond what other companies would pass
off. Your innovation with the Supra Carbon/Carbon clutch
is phenomenal. I want to make sure that I take the best
car of my clutch before I beat the hell out of it with
500HP. :) I have heard about a 500 mile brake-in period
but I wanted to hear from RPS myself and hear what you
recommend for a break in period, and how to properly break
in your clutches. Thanks for being an outstanding company.

I think Rob Smith over at RPS Performance
deserves a hand here. The new Carbon/Carbon clutch is
as smooth as butter, yet holds like nothing I've experienced
in a 3/S so far. Again, in short, this clutch is simply
amazing. It has the capacity to be slipped and still hold
- so it takes a good deal of the initial shock away from
our drivelines and still holds under serious power. The
RPS Carbon/Carbon is something everyone serious about
dragging their 3/S should consider.

"I have used RPS clutches for over
5 years in all my setups. They
never cease to amaze me. Top notch quality with cutting
edge technology and
excellent customer service. What else can you ask for?
The clamping force of the progressive dual diaphragm pressure
plate is unbelievable and the difference in pedal pressure
is minimal. It'll
hold anything you throw at it! I ran the 1200 lb pressure
plate in
my last setup and can't wait to test the 1700 lb plate!"

"By the way, our guy who ordered
the clutch for his AE86 with the AE92 flywheel had no
fitment problems, whatsoever. He really likes how the
pedal isn't much stiffer than OEM, but how the clutch
still grabs well. You guys make a great product. Thank
you for your support."

"I've used this clutch for 4K miles
now and I must say that it drives wonderful. My '90 Mazda
RX-7
Turbo II is daily driven in Los Angeles traffic. Not only
does the RPS Street Disc MAX clutch hold the power of
my turbo rotary, but now I don't have to loathe sitting
in traffic with a super heavy clutch pedal on a near un-streetable
clutch like my previous O.S. Giken twin plate. The RPS
Street Disc MAX
also allows me to take off from stop lights smoothly,
despite my Cusco light-weight
chromoly flywheel. Thanks for making a great product.
You guys rock!"

COMPARISON
O.S. Giken TS2B - Twin plate clutch was
virtually un-streetable in the greater Los Angeles vicinity;
traffic sucked! I broke 2 differential mounts with that
clutch. Heavy pedal. I hated driving it. Though in O.S.
Giken's defense, it grabbed hard and pretty much did what
it was engineered to do.
RPS - I now use it and it's very streetable
and more than enough for the power I'm putting out.
I have no complaints whatsoever. It matches well with
my Cusco flywheel. I can always get it
rebuilt when it goes out and I can always upgrade the
disc to a 6 puck if I so desire.

"This is a pic of my best time to date 12.9 @ 107mph
with 1.7 60'. This was taken immediately after putting
your 2500 Max 6 puck sprung clutch in it. This clutch
might have had 40 miles on it before this launch. Before
this clutch was a Clutchmasters Stage 4. Best I could
do with
that clutch was 13.7 @ 98mph with 2.2 60' times."

"You might have heard but I dynode
730 rear wheel hp and 746 foot lbs of torque using your

so far. Car was run at 28 ps and a 75
shot. Feel free to visit 7mpower.com for my moods, dyno
